After last year's Concert, the students immediately requested to do the Concert again and how can you not heed their persistent requests...so in August a plan was set in motion. I was certainly stoked with their enthusiasm and this year once again there was overwhelming talent to display. More than 60+ students from schools across the North Shore, Remuera and Henderson, performed individually and with bands. The event was over 2 days - 04/05 November 2017 and once again held at St. John's School Hall in Mairangi Bay. A sincere thanks to all the parents for their support, without which this event would have been impossible. Stoked that the Rock Shop also took interest and offered support with token giveaways and prize vouchers.

Hi Mark...Huge thank you and congratulations for another successful year for you and your students. As usual you’ve put an enormous amount of time and effort into teaching and preparing for the final concert. Hi Mark...Nice to meet you ! I’m Sindy Feng’s mother and I’m in China now. Really thank you for hard working to arrange the so successful Concert and taking so many wonderful pictures！Yesterday when I received the email about the Concert that Sindy forwarded to me ,I felt very excited and was very proud of her! She had expected the show for a long time! Although it was the first time that she played the drum to many audiences, it seemed she was relaxed and confidence. She told me she really enjoyed the performance and hoped that there would be more opportunities in the future. That made me happy too. So we are looking forward the next time, and I wish I’ll attend the Concert on 2018. - ZHENG LI
